Aloha, my name is Jennifer, which means the white wave or ‘whitewash’ in Welsh. I’m the designer/owner of Tikishiki Handbags. Having lived in Hawaii for the past 23 years while receiving my BA in International Relations in Honolulu; to then work in conservation on the island of Kaua’i, sales and the culinary arts, I made it a point to travel as often as possible. Discovering my passion for textiles and culture early on while collecting fabrics and beautiful keepsakes, viewing art and design in the the many beautiful countries I'v visited, keeps me happy and grateful.

Inspirations in my life and creations are vintage adornments, the beauty of nature, freedom and travel. Loving the calm remote tropics and the excitement & sophistication of a city is a personal yin/yang method I use to fuel my growth. I believe you can make your life an artistic expression; a work of art. That is what a Tikishiki Handbags is all about “a functioning wearable piece of art”.
